Doing your bit for Wildlife Conservation may be easier than you think

A quick glance at some of the world’s leading animal charities will confirm that the world’s unsustainable consumption of its natural resources is a growing problem. If you love animals and you want to see the millions of species kept safe for future generations, it’s up to you and all of us to join the fight to put things right.

It can start with something as simple as solar panels for your home. Hard to believe, but the installation (for only about nine thousand pounds) might yield you a massive saving on your current energy bills – for life.

Climate change, fighting for endangered animal species and drawing attention to the global threats concerning our world, nature and its people are the focus of the WWF. It’s determined to protect and tackle our climate change issues and promotes sustainable use of resources. Endangered wildlife species and their habitats are constantly under threat. Zoos worldwide have co-operative breeding programmes and undertake research in aid of animal conservation.

Another international developmental charity is SolarAid. This charity is hoping to reduce global poverty and fight the world’s climate changes. This charity is working toward installing solar panels in the world’s community centres thus providing a massive energy saving.

But back in the jungles and rainforests of our world, the sun is beating down on an incredible 35 fewer species every single day. After pollution or destruction, habitats take many years (sometimes hundreds or even thousands) to grow again and tragically, we are losing so many species that will never return.
